i am back after a series of crazy school schedule that will last till 4th dec. my current desk looks like a paper warzone and has been for quite some time. luckily for me, i finished my spa report early and managed to get a nice hari-friday-1st holiday with bby and a nice saturday idling away watching glee and heroes. i will pay the price for that tomorrow :P

yesterday started off on a weird foot that my parents wanted to go for dim sum and asked me to ask him along when i said i was going out. who am i to resist the beauty of dim sum? my lovely hargows :) so we went to my old place (alijunied) and got some dim sum. the workers said we had to wait 2 hours for it and that kind of became the joke for the rest of the meal. century egg porridge, steamed chicken rice, chee cheong fun, crystal prawn dumplings, siew mai, hargow and some random fried stuff that i have no idea of.

after lunch we were dropped off in the middle of the road at marina square and the expedition begans. the lovelies in the pictures are brought to live and given names (which are not meant for human ears). the seemingly hand holding pic of the duo standing up is my favourite :)

fantastic mr fox had the real roald dahl twist to it and our bearhouses became the talk of town, not to mention the roadblock of the passageway at our row of seats… ;)

dinner was REALLY awesome with the wide array of seafood fantasy @ Manhattan Fish Market, the giant platter looks so nice on picture - guess it does have some perks to have a big appetite. speaking of big appetites my recent stress-reduced appetite seems to have rose to a new high.. one particular L&R test day i had kway chap and sandwich and garlic bread and a fish burger for lunch (not all at the same time relax!). i amazed myself.

i guess i’m a sucker for seafood. would love to visit manhattan for real and try the claimed seafood street of restaurants by Manhattan Fish Market, or Maine for a whooping lobsterfest and other sea goodies. till then i am very satisfied with my occasionally fish market indulgence.

throughout this 365 (now 366 days) of being with you is kind of like a self-discovery journey. i didn’t know i have much more to give to others than i thought, and i sure didn’t know i have many little quirks especially so which makes our conversations potentially toxic to anyone else (heh). and for that matter i must proclaim though i am kind of annoyed that your friend do not believe i am physically unable to burp, i think dysfunction of the belch reflex is really not a cool name and sounds like a cow with a problem (i mean belch seriously??). in my dictionary cows belch and humans burp. so i rest my case.

on a relatively unrelated case it baffles me how random people stay in your life while those close leave and drift, although sometimes the other way around happens. guess life’s a bitch and we’re not going to be the pimp here. which brings me end this entry with a video of ‘UP’ made by my friend Robert.
